Pace Prints at the IFPDA Print Fair
November 4, 2015 - November 8, 2015
Pace Prints is pleased to present new editions and monoprints at IFPDA Print Fair 2015, Booth 412.
The highlight of this year’s exhibition will be the debut of Aten Reign (2015), James Turrell’s large-scale archival pigment print in vibrant shades of blue. The edition of 30 references the artist’s monumental 2013 installation at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum rotunda.
Also on view will be Robert Mangold’s newest set of two etchings, Double Square Frame I & II (2015).
April Gornik’s, Desert Light (2015), uses soft ground etching and aquatint with spitbite to evoke the radiant shearing light of an expansive desert landscape.
Shepard Fairey’s newest body of work employs a combination of processes to create poignant imagery with social consciousness.
Ryan McGinness’ new silk tapestry, Untitled (Woven Mindscape III) (2015), a collaboration with famed French weavers Tassinari & Chatel will also be on view.
Chuck Close’s most recent self-portrait, an 84-color woodcut, Leonardo Drew’s extraordinary works in cast handmade paper, and monoprints by twin street artists How and Nosm will be exhibited. In addition, works by Keith Haring, Yoshitomo Nara, Kiki Smith and Dan Walsh will be found at Pace Prints, booth 412.
