American painter Roberto Juarez channels his Mexican and Puerto Rican heritage through work inspired by the traditions of non-Western painting, more specifically Hispanic painting and decorative arts; as well as Japanese art and ceramics. Juarez's work expresses the human experience through organic form, imagery, and a sensitive color palette.
