Born in 1922, Sayed-Haider Raza studied painting in his native India and then in Paris, at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts, from 1950 to 1953. Raza's work has been exhibited worldwide and honored with many awards. Strong colors and geometric shapes define Raza's images, which have their conceptual basis in Indian metaphysical thought.
