Bai Yiluo's photographic montages juxtapose the dialectic between the individual and the collective. He is a self-taught photographer who appropriates photo identification images of Chinese individuals and digitally manipulates them to create composite works on paper and 3D sculptures that depict cultural icons from both Chinese and western culture.
