The Insistent Image: Recurrent Motifs in the Art of Shepard Fairey and Jasper Johns

The Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art, at the College of Charleston, in Charleston, South Carolina is exhibiting a joint exhibition of work by artists Shepard Fairey and Jasper Johns. Entitled "The Insistent Image: Recurrent Motifs in the Art of Shepard Fairey and Jasper Johns", the show features a news series of work by Fairey, entitled "Power and Glory", as well as an edition of prints by Johns, created over a 30 year period at Universal Limited Art Editions in New York.

"The Insistent Image: Recurrent Motifs in the Art of Shepard Fairey and Jasper Johns" is on view of the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art, 161 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC from May 22 through July 12, 2014.
