Throughout his career, Sol LeWitt (1928–2007) embraced prints as a means to realize his vision of Conceptual Art. The systematic and collaborative processes of printmaking offered LeWitt an ideal setting to explore serial works, and he adopted them as a core part of his practice, working in a remarkable range of techniques, including linocut, silkscreen, and intaglio.
Sol LeWitt collaborated with Pace Prints on multiple projects from 1995 until the end of his life. These, as well as select editions made with other publishers, will be exhibited in this broad survey of LeWitt’s printed work.
