Rafa Macarrón has exhibited internationally including at CAC, Málaga, Spain; Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, Alicante, Spain; Museo DA2, Salamanca, Spain; Fundación La Nave Salinas, Ibiza, Spain; CVG Foundation, Beijing, China; and Nino Mier Gallery, Brussels and Los Angeles. Macarrón was the winner of the BMW Painting Prize in 2010 and his work is found in private and institutional collections worldwide, including the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art, New York; Fundación BMW, Spain; Caja Campo, Valladolid, Spain; and Colección Mercadona, Spain, among others. The artist lives and works in Madrid.
