Hilary Pecis (b. 1979, Fullerton, California) is an American contemporary artist, known for her vibrant still lifes and landscapes. She received both her B.F.A. and M.F.A. from the California College of the Arts in 2006 and 2009 respectively. She employs fields of saturated color, geometric patterns, and bold linework to depict her domestic still lifes and her landscapes. Her interiors are full of the warmth of a home, with books crowded on tables, remnants of dinner parties, plants and succulents gracing tabletops and windowsills, and glasses and bottles laid out for visiting friends. She distorts the perspective of her work, placing her work in dialogue with modernist art historical movements.

Hilary Pecis has been the subject of solo exhibitions at Rockefeller Center, New York (2021); Timothy Taylor, London (2021); Spurs Gallery, Beijing (2020); Rachel Uffner Gallery, New York (2020); and Crisp-Ellert Art Museum, Flagler College, St. Augustine, Florida (2019).
