Vogue featured a conversation with M.Patmos about her collaboration with Ryan McGinness on a limited edition line of knitwear. Vogue describes McGinness saying, "the skater turned fine artist whose paintings and installations incorporate public signage, graphically rendered text, and iconography, bringing corporate logos and symbols into a museum context."
Patmos calls the collaboration on the M.Patmos x Ryan McGinness spring 2015 capsule collection—facilitated by a mutual friend—surprising, fun and organic. “Our friend thought—and it was true!—that Ryan’s work would translate well to textiles and fashion," says Patmos.
McGinness's most recent edition with Pace Prints is a silk tapestry, designed with his signature calligraphic style and woven by the famed French silk firm Tassinari & Chatel.
