Ryan McGinness, currently the subject of the exhibition "Figure Drawings" at Pace Prints Chelsea, sat down with Artnet News to talk about his series of neon works, present in the exhibition. “I’m not the kind of artist who can magically make a beautiful drawing in one go" the artist explains. "I make a series of failings, and a series of struggles toward that final drawing. I take that solution and then I perfect it.”
"Figure Drawings" is on view at Pace Prints Chelsea, 521 W. 26th St., through June 7.
