On the occasion of Nigel Cooke, Pace Prints invites you to attend a conversation between artist Nigel Cooke and Judy Hecker, Executive Director of the Print Center New York.
The event will take place on Friday, October 10 from 2-3pm in our gallery at 536 West 22nd Street.
The dialogue will focus on the processes and techniques behind Cooke’s new body of work, as well as the artist’s inspirations and experiences working in the Pace Prints studio.

About Nigel Cooke
Nigel Cooke (b. 1973, Manchester, England) is a painter known for evocative works that merge figurative forms with abstract and elemental atmospherics. He studied at the Royal College of Art and Goldsmiths College, where he gained a PhD in Philosophy. His work is included in public collections around the world, including the British Council, London, the Astrup Fearnley Museet for Moderne Kunst, Oslo, the Sammlung Goetz Collection, Munich, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, the Honart Museum, Tehran, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and the Tate, London. He is internationally represented by Pace Gallery.
About Judy Hecker
Judy Hecker is Executive Director of Print Center New York, the nonprofit exhibition space and hub on West 24th Street in Chelsea, which champions printmaking as an art form that drives invention, collaboration, and access. Prior, Hecker was a curator in the Department of Drawings and Prints at The Museum of Modern Art, New York.
