Pat Phillips "It Was Sunny, but Then It Started to Rain" at P·P·O·W

P·P·O·W presents It Was Sunny, but Then It Started to Rain, Pat Phillips’s first solo exhibition with the gallery. Featuring paintings and works on paper from 2020 to the present, the exhibition combines Phillips’s background in graffiti with a sophisticated study of figuration and elements of the Baroque to depict American subcultures. It Was Sunny, but Then It Started to Rain is on view from May 16 through June 22, 2024 at 392 Broadway.
