Master papermaker Paul Wong reviewed Leonardo Drew's 2015 exhibition at Pace Prints Chelsea in Volume 30, Number 2 of Hand Papermaking. In the review, Leonardo Drew: The Core and Beyond the Wild Blue Yonder, Wong generously writes, "It is clear that Pace Paper has brought to bear their thorough knowledge of the paper medium and their longtime experience in facilitating an artist's vision to the realization of these seemingly insurmountable new interpretations in papermaking."
He notes that Drew could be heralded as the "Silver Surfer of Papermaking," due to the metallic silver pigments used on the paper, cast in deep relief, and speaks to the technical feat of the body of work given the medium.
