A new documentary film, directed by the artist's daughter Malia, uses exceptional archival and new footage, to showcase Kenny Scharf's 40-year career. This intimate and energetic film takes us from the ’80s downtown scene where Scharf made his name alongside Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Klaus Nomi, to the present day, through film of Scharf's immersive, performative work and interviews with contemporaries, friends, and critics.
