A short film and two drawings by Pace Prints collaborators Ghada Amer and Reza Farkhondeh will be featured in the Brooklyn Museum exhibition Killer Heels: The Art of the High-Heeled Shoe, opening on September 10, 2014 at 2pm. The short film was inspired by the provocative footwear and specially commissioned for the show by the museum.
The show explores the high heel’s social and historical role as “fashion statement, fetish object, instrument of power, and outlet of artistic expression for both the designer and the wearer” and will be on view September 10, 2014–February 15, 2015.
