Concurrent with Chuck Close: Prints, Process and Collaboration, the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia will host a Contemporary Print Symposium featuring curator and director of the Parrish Art Museum, Terrie Sultan and director of Pace Paper, Ruth Lingen. The two-day event will take place November 21—22, 2014 and will explore contemporary approaches to portraiture and collaboration in contemporary printmaking.
Ruth has collaborated on over a dozen Chuck Close editions, as well as two artist books. She has worked with an array of notable artists in her tenure at Pace Paper and has received the Dieu Donné Lifetime Achievement Award in Papermaking.
