Pace Prints is pleased to present Post-Minimalism, an exhibition of important prints and editions by Jennifer Bartlett, Peter Halley, Sol LeWitt, Robert Mangold, Robert Ryman, Joel Shapiro, and James Turrell.
On view from May 15 – June 14 in Gallery 4, the exhibition investigates the transition beyond Minimalism which saw artists foregrounding simplicity, geometric forms, and clean lines, but with a renewed focus on materiality.
Showcasing various innovative printmaking methods and techniques, the exhibition includes a handmade paper relief edition by Peter Halley alongside rare screen-printed vinyl film collages by Robert Ryman.
Other highlights include James Turrell’s triptych of aquatint etchings Suite from Aten Reign and Robert Mangold’s large-scale etching Curved Plane/Figure I.
