Pace Prints is pleased to present at Art Basel Miami Beach, in Booth A1, a selection of newly released editions and monoprints created by Nick Doyle, Keltie Ferris, Derek Fordjour, Chase Hall, Daniel Heidkamp, José Lerma, Hilary Pecis, David Salle, Shahzia Sikander, and Robin F. Williams, as well as significant past editions by Yoshitomo Nara, Louise Nevelson, Jonas Wood, Helen Frankenthaler, and David Hockney, among others.
The Pace Prints booth will highlight innovations in paper pulp techniques used to create dimensional works including José Lerma’s cast portraits, molded from a painting of thick brushstrokes, and Shahzia Sikander’s brilliant gold edition, Duende, which exploits the responsive qualities of abaca fibers to mold the paper into a halo of converging waves around a female silhouette.
Recent editions from our studios pull from nostalgic references, like the disco balls in Rock and Roll is Dead by Nick Doyle, and Robin F. Williams’ Interference, a soap ground and relief print inspired by the 1970s horror film genre. A paper pulp landscape and still life by Hilary Pecis plays on color and pattern to imbue traditional themes in painting with a new vibrant energy.
We are also proud to present Dock Jump, a previously unexhibited jigsaw relief print by Chase Hall created using coffee grounds and ink, as well as collages on panel by Nina Chanel Abney that have recently returned from a museum tour in North America.
