On the occasion of Robin F. Williams: Night Shift, Pace Prints hosted a conversation between artists Robin F. Williams and Marilyn Minter.
Moderated by Pace Prints’ master intaglio printer Sarah Carpenter, the event took place on Thursday, May 15 from 5-6pm in our gallery at 536 West 22nd Street.
The dialogue focused on intersecting themes within both artists’ work, including the ways in which they subvert and contend with the depiction of women across cinema, social media, advertising, and beyond.
The conversation also focused on the innovative print-making techniques used to create the unique monoprints and collages included in Williams’ exhibition.
